Luc Pong - Keep Breathin' Pop, Alternative, Power Pop, Synthpop, Pop Rock, Post-Grunge, Retrowave Georgia, United States Overall Impression: Electronic project Luc Pong gives us a indie rock/pop punk-disco synth heartbreak anthem in Keep Breathin'. This is a break-up song that will make you want to dance and celebrate the glory of heartache. This single is a love letter to the broken-hearted that find consolation on the dance floor. Strongest Point(s): Such great drumming. The best part of this song is that the uplifting melody contradicts the sad lyrics - happy sad music - like Robyn's Dancing On My Own. I really enjoyed the dramatic opening synth and the disco beat that kicks in halfway. You've achieved all of your artist targets through influences, yet creating your own distinct style. This track is a synth pop gem! Yes, I can hear the heavy influence of sounds between 2001-2011, as well as the 80s. But the melody, arrangement and dreamy sy...
