Wayne Madder - Crack In The Wall Blues, Rhythm & Blues , Jazz Blues, Soul Greenbank , Canada Overall Impression: Canadian based singer/songwriter Wayne Madder describes the feelings of waking up to realize that you are involved in a failing relationship, with his shuffling, bittersweet Blues number Crack In The Wall. As Madder begins a steady guitar riff and relates waking up to see a crack in the wall, he describes how he tries to go about his normal morning routine, while being unable to shake a nagging feeling that he relates while repeating the lines, "I think your love is failing me". Then as a haunting wurlitzer joins in the chorus, Madder rhetorically asks his lover, why they have such a strong effect on his very existence? And asks how he is unable to walk away from them, when they are constantly hurting him? Even as Madder relates the many times he's been the victim of a dishonest lover, it's obvious in the pained tone of his voice...
