Peter Lewis - Don't You Want 2 Go?
World, Contemporary, Smooth

Overall Impression: "Don't You Want 2 Go?" is a gorgeous new release, from multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Peter Lewis. This light jazz track features a beautiful flute lead that's bolstered by a deep warm bass, airy synth strings, and sparse piano playing over an electronic Latin groove. Thanks to its strong melodic sense and lush extended harmonies, and a lively, whimsical back and forth between voices, Peter Lewis' "Don't You Want 2 Go?" should delight jazz enthusiasts, especially those with a taste for the lighter side of the genre.

Strongest Point(s): Solid production, excellent mix. Great tune, super catchy melody. Flute sounds fantastic, wonderful tone and vibrato. Bass has nice motion, and does well to fill up the low end of the frequency spectrum. Nice choice of synth tones, they compliment the flute lead nicely and provide wonderful harmonic support. Piano gives a nice percussive element in the way that it's used here, adding staccato stabs and fills that serve to round out the sound. Outstanding piece, and a strong track overall. Terrific work on this one!

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of Jazz, Jazz-Pop, Soft Jazz, Easy Listening
