Whether listening to the song on a night "in" or having fun dancing the night away on a night out. With this romantic and sexy ballad, Ashey Mariee has bared her soul and opened up her heart and emotions, which in turn makes her listeners want to do the same. Vocally, her long notes and vocals linger with longing and romance and exude sexiness. A melodic change mid-song, with only slight variation, keeps the tone and timbre of the song consistent.
Strongest Point(s): The bass drums and electronic beats make this song a percussion-driven track, with syncopated drum beats that weave in and out and as she drops ominous lines that linger long after their arrival. The R&B vibe flows like the accents on the beats and the dark waves of emotions that the piano emits. Although it is a percussion-driven record, and drums are widely used in a variety of ways throughout the song, they are used subtlety and tastefully; utilizing the cymbals part of the drum, for a jazzy R&B effect and the piano offers a delicate compliment to the piece. It is a well-composed and performed piece, as it begins and ends with the delicate yet powerful sound of the piano.
