Overall Impression: With its instantly relatable lyrics and focused songwriting, "emoji me" is a brilliant piece of folk-infused country music that is very well performed and solidly produced. There is a definite free-spirited feel to Wilfax's writing that gives the song a particularly relaxed and laid-back vibe, certainly an attribute that is needed in these uncertain times. Filled with plenty of heart and charm, "emoji me" is a brilliant easy-going listening experience.
