Timothy Lee Freeman - Catch 22
Rock, Alternative, Punk
Virginia, United States

Overall Impression: Both writing and recording music is no easy task and whilst there are some issues with "Catch 22", I always have the utmost respect for musicians who have the drive and perseverance when it comes to making music. Timothy has made an extremely commendable effort and there are certainly some excellent ideas in here, I'm sure with a bit of refinement and fine tweaking here and there "Catch 22" can be further improved upon and what is learned from this process will definitely help future recordings.

Strongest Point(s): There is a great sense of attitude throughout "Catch 22" which fits with the alternative rock style perfectly, and this trait is well weaved into the lyrics and vocal performance, which interestingly adopts a stylistically intriguing monotone approach that gives the track a certain edge that works very well in its favour. There is a great mix of styles in "Catch 22", there is an obvious alternative rock inspiration but there are also interesting hints of punk and even grunge in places that make for an intriguing listen.

Target Audience Appeal: This definitely has strong alternative rock vibes with an added sprinkle of punk for good measure.

Artist target suggestions: Placebo, The Smashing Pumpkins, Staind, Creed, Hinder, Fuel, Flyleaf, Stooges, The Damned, Sham 69, Fugazi, Killing Joke, Danzig, Mudhoney
