Overall Impression: This is a really fascinating sound! Simon presents an earthy, soulful sound with a sense of passion and innovation. Blending elements of electronic instrumentation with more organic sensibilities and a truly unique voice, Your Smile is a lively and exciting exploration of the intoxicating effects of a beautiful gesture - and Simon delivers the song as one smitten by a truly unforgettable grin.

Strongest Point(s): Your voice is incredible! I'm enjoying the color and tone you have, and the guitar work really supports it well. The sort of distant, echoing vocals with a layer of warble create a very surreal soundscape - as though I'm experiencing a vinyl record in 3D. Great lyrics and delivery, the passion of your sound is infectious and effective. Love the line, "...Da Vinci Understood, showed me and you, what a smile can do..." - very clever writing!

Target Audience Appeal: With a sound that's as unusual as it is pleasant, Simon's built a familiar but foreign space out of nothing but his brilliant voice, a sweet sounding guitar, and an impeccably well timed kit. Listeners looking for something a little different will fully enjoy losing themselves in the subtly strange stylings of Your Smile. I'd say this has the potential to be used in film and media as well! Great work, and I look forward to hearing more! - Jon W.

Artist target suggestions: The Killers, James Taylor, Nick Drake, Espers, Foxtails Brigade, Comus, Mother Falcon, Linda Perhacs, Devendra Banhart, Yo La Tengo
