Diesel Dunst - The Little Things
Rock
New Jersey, United States
Overall Impression: "The Little Things" is the guitar driven new release from the rock band, Diesel Dunst. Aggressive staccato riffs meet melodic hooks on this track, which features a punk rock energy and aesthetic. Frenetic drumming and galloping bass guitar build a solid foundation for the confident two part male vocal harmonies and swirling electric guitars on this feel good, upbeat love song. Fans of powerpop should find a lot to like about Diesel Dunst's "The Little Things", as should rock fans in general, thanks to its high energy and melodic sensibility.
Strongest Point(s): Great melody. Dynamic arrangement. Fantastic energy. Excellent bridge that provides nice harmonic variation. Positive lyrics, that reflect the optimism and zeal of the music. Good tone on the guitars, especially the lead part. Some really nice guitar work, in general. The vocal harmonies do well to fill out the sound and reinforce the melody. All in all, a strong song and a solid rock track. Nice job!
