Overall Impression: Winterstand has a written a marvelously energetic anthem in Where do you go, this is both a catchy and fun trip down the classic Pop-Punk avenue, boasting self-assurance and a strong eye for detail regarding the staples of the genre, this is a great listen and one that very much feels destined for a live crowd.
Strongest Point(s): This has a great energy to it, and the up-tempo feel creates a lively feeling that grabs the listener and doesn't let go until the end, which is always good when it comes to tracks of this style, the genre is all about attitude and energy, and this one delivers on that in abundance. The vocal performance is a highlight of the track, showing great expression and range which help convey the lyrics with great detail and passion. The overall quality of the performances is superb, the guitars have plenty of gnarl to them and play the parts perfectly and with great flair. The Drums and Bass hold everything together tightly and provide a deeply strong backbone to the song, The Drums have plenty of bombast to them, again adding heaps of energy and forward motion, whilst the Bass has plenty of chunk and boom that fortifies the backline and helps glue the whole performance together.
Target Audience Appeal: This definitely fits nicely in the Pop Punk genre and definitely will appeal to this crowd, and this certainly the right audience to be targeting. The main genre was listed as Alternative Rock, and whilst it has elements of that, this undoubtedly should be Punk/Pop-Punk, this will ensure the right audience is appealed to.
Artist target suggestions: Daughtry, Blink 182, Sum 41, The Offspring, Puddle Of Mud, Good Charlotte, Bowling For Soup, New Found Glory, Simple Plan, Kimmy Eat World, Paramore, Rise Against, Yellowcard
