Nereace - The Journey

World, New Age, Classical, Film, Meditation
Australia

Overall Impression: Nereace creates a wide open soundscape with The Journey. The intro draws the listener in, and the lyrics act as a guide for each individual through introspective music. The different modalities and changing feel keep the piece moving forward and engages the listener. The instrumentation is interesting and provocative for the mind. Overall great job.

Strongest Point(s): The composition itself is wonderful as a standalone, but your ideas of its multiple uses is entrepreneurial and modern. Meditation has been around for millennia, but your contemporary vision has the potential to help many people. On top of this, the composition is extremely enjoyable; the instruments are all played extremely well, the vocals are enchanting, and I was drawn in the entire time.

Areas of Improvement: I found myself listening to this over and over again, making me wonder if The Journey could be expanded time wise? An hour of this world be lovely, especially with visual media. Also some ocean drum here and there may add some extra ambiance.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of meditation music, atmospheric, ethereal, film scores, mantras, female power singers, and more will enjoy this piece. As I said above, adding visual media would make this piece very popular (I believe) or advertising The Journey for use in film, streaming platforms and the like may make your music very popular.

Artist target suggestions: Although it is important to have influences and role models, remember your voice is most important for your musical future.
