We're so excited to feature  Phil Edwards Band - A Radio Airplay staff  and Jango listener favorite, and this week's newest Center Stage pick! Their feel good song Crash was one of the Top 10 winning songs in our recent Summer Song Contest. Just tune in and you'll see why! Meet Tyller Fischer   - An 18 year old up-and-coming singer/songwriter from Melbourne, with a distinctly unique sound that comes straight from her heart and experiences.  Her song Rebel was also one of the Top 10 Winners in Radio Airplay's recent Summer Song Contest.  Get to know this promising young artist for yourself in our latest Q&A feature: Can you describe your sound in one ramble-on sentence? Center Stage - Climbing Trees

We're so excited to introduce you to our newest Center Stage band, and recent runner up in Radio Airplay's Summer Song Contest, Climbing Trees .  The BBC Introducing favourites have made numerous television, radio and festival appearances over the past few years, as well as recording a live session at London's iconic Maida Vale Studios and performing with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.   Alongside soundtracking the BBC's Real Valleys season and appearing in American documentary Fade To Winter, 2015 saw work begin on the eagerly-awaited and much-anticipated follow-up to 2013 debut record HEBRON before a string of dates in support of lead single GRAVES, a track which also featured on the Reach Out: Welsh Rock For Refugees compilation alongside Stereophonics, Manic Street Preachers and Super Furry Animals.  Following the success of further singles TRACKS, AMBER and LOST, which gained airplay from the likes of Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 ...

Center Stage - Playgrounds

We're pleased to introduce you to Radio Airplay's newest center stage pick,   Playgrounds - A four piece pop punk/ alternative rock group from Pittsburgh, PA. Formed in 2017 by founding members Ken Craven - Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, William Haines - Drums, and Eric Simon - Bass Guitar. A later addition of Matt Madjerich - Lead Guitar/Backup Vocals, helped to solidify the group. Their first EP, a five track record titled “The Things I Shouldn’t Stress” was released, December 23, 2017 On all major music outlets. Center Stage - Mondo

Meet  Mondo - A Northern California country artist, and Radio Airplay's newest Center Stage pick. His song, Palm and the Pines was also recently chosen as one of the top 10 songs in our 2018 Summer Song Contest!  Mondo finished off 2017 with over 200 shows, having shared the stage with major recording artists such as, Brett Young, Maren Morris, Little Big Town ,  Luke Combs, Clay Walker, Easton Corbin, Wade Hayes, Kellie Pickler, Coffey Anderson, Josh Gracin, and Runaway June.  Mondo recently completed his anticipated album, “The Nashville Cuts” which is now available on all online music platforms! Meet Jillian Jones   - A recording artist and worship leader in North Mankato, MN where she resides with her husband and two kids.  She released her first EP entitled, "He Is Everything" in September of 2016.     As a pianist, singer and songwriter, Jillian brings a breadth of expertise to the contemporary Christian genre. Her background spans a wide range of vocal techniques, instrumentation and musical styles, including pop, Latin jazz, classical and worship. From gentle acoustics to a fresh sound, Jones’ songs demonstrate a variety of styles and the powerhouse vocals for which she is known. When Jillian isn't making music, she enjoys photography, woodworking and spending time with her family on the shores of Lake Superior. This week's Center Stage pick is an inspiring and talented young musician, Annabella -  A singer, songwriter and performance artist born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She moved to the US at a young age, and after a brief time in California, she moved to the Washington DC area where she grew up outside of Annapolis Maryland.  Annabella spent much of her childhood studying music and performing all over the capital area. She has been acting, singing and studying music for most of her life, and has been a member of several school and professional choirs, winning several awards for her exceptional voice.
