Overall Impression: Only For The Money is the newest release by faith-based artist Anthony Ewers. On sound alone, Only For The Money brings to mind snarky Pop Punk bands from the late 90's and early 2000's. But it has replaced the guitars with electro-pop synths and keeps the groove chilled out. The melodies and vocal harmonies sit easily on the ears, relishing in longer notes and a calm delivery. This all works in stark contrast to the lyrical content, which turns its back on corruption, colonialism, greed, and tyranny.
