Overall Impression: Sultry, romantic, and seductive, “This Is Your Night” by Chris Keya ft. Eileithyia is one track that will keep you on the dance floor all night long. At first listen, one would think they were listening to Beyonce but Eileithyia has a sound and flavor all her own. The song features a good beat and an upbeat tempo, melodic changes and variations occur towards the middle of the song which makes for an interesting composition. With the song, Chris Keya not only combines genres but blends to together language as well for a perfect marriage to this English-Spanish track that is sure to make you dance.
Strongest Point(s): Eileithyia’s greatest asset and strength lie in the tone, timbre, and vibrato of her vocals. She also showcases great control of her instrument, which is soft, breathy, and dream-like, with lots of inflection and intonation and displays her bi-lingual skills. Chris Keya creates a multifaceted track with “This Is Your Night” featuring a club-dance and EDM vibe with elements and tones of the islands reminiscent of calypso; that experience is created with a combination of keyboards, flute, and what resembles a calliope. The melody and rhythm of the song have great variation as well. There are great accents on the beat, and towards the end of the song the rhythm and variations to the melody are utilized with little nuances here and there, and then just stop into a coda at the end. For a track that was produced in a home studio, it's clean, polished, and a well mixed and mastered composition.
