Jean Hilbert - Tranquility
Jazz, New Age, Piano Instrumental
Iowa, United States

Overall Impression: Beautifully composed and passionately performed, this intriguing classical piece by Jean Hilbert aptly titled "Tranquility", is able to successfully transport its listeners to a place of both blissful calm and soothing serenity with its tenderly phrased melodies and truly amiable nature. Comprising of gracefully expressed violin melodies and delicately conveyed piano, "Tranquility" offers listeners a particularly moving listening experience that will undoubtedly stay with them for a considerably long time.

Strongest Point(s): Whilst the music has clearly had a great deal of attention and care lovingly put into it, it's the performances and they're undeniably strong feeling of accomplishment that help to bring each and every delicately executed melody and endearing musical passage vividly to life. There is a profound feeling of dynamism between the piano and violin parts that not only helps to conjure up extremely potent feelings of harmony and conviction between the two, but also ensures the music is given that certain profound nuance needed in order to most effectively speak to the listener. From the reassuring qualities provided by the elegantly arranged harmonic progressions to the heart-filled melodies that so gracefully sweep over them, I believe "Tranquility" greatly achieves what it set out do.

Target Audience Appeal: I can certainly see this appealing to lovers of both new age and neo-classical styles.
