Overall Impression: I believe a great children's song needs to possess a few standard qualities in order for it to effectively appeal to a young audience, it needs to be catchy, upbeat, and exciting, and I think it's safe to say that Stephen Cheung's "Bye Bye Taxi" hits all those key points strikingly well. With its sing-along lyrics and both melodically and rhythmically rousing nature, "Bye Bye Taxi" has that innocent and easily accessible quality to it that younger audiences will easily connect with and possesses just the right amount of variation in its arrangement to ensure listeners are kept continually entertained throughout without ever feeling overwhelmed.

Strongest Point(s): The lyrics are certainly catchy and simple to follow, allowing children to easily sing along to the track whilst having great fun in doing so. The general upbeat nature of the song is sure to keep energy levels consistently high, this allows for a stronger sense of continued engagement from the audience which will go a long way in helping to keep younger listeners more invested in the music. It was a particularly smart decision to have short instrumental interludes interspersed throughout the song, this adds a great bit of variation into the arrangement and allows the sung sections to feel that bit more prominent and engaging.

Target Audience Appeal: This is a strong child-focused track and I can certainly see it appealing to younger audiences.

Artist target suggestions: HooplaKidz, Blippi, The Countdown Kids, The Playtime Allstars, ABC Kids, Hi-5, Pinkfong, Raffi, The Palace Singers, The Jamborees
