Those Dirty Lines - Dirty
Alternative/Alt. Rock, Indie, Dance, Punk
Canada

Overall Impression: Chock full of gloriously dirty-sounding synths, plenty of melodic sass, and an undeniably cheeky sense of character, "Dirty" is an unapologetically straight-to-the-point alternative rocker that revels in its definite sense of musical identity and brilliantly brash demeanor. Those Dirty Lines have served up a sonically exciting tune that combines flamboyant performances with a ton of personality, resulting in a track that has a definite sense of swagger that listeners will find both refreshing and quite simply fun.

Strongest Point(s): With its punk-like attitude, gritty alternative rock elements, and electro synth-infused flourishes, "Dirty" is a marvelously eclectic mix of styles. Whilst the growly nature of the bass and gritty synth sounds conjure up both elements of alternative and industrial styles, the hard-hitting drums and punk-infused vocals certainly inject the track with that quintessential rock attitude that really heightens the songs overall energetic qualities. Particular merit also needs to be awarded to the production and overall mix, this is a great sounding track that boasts both great clarity and detail, it's clearly evident that time has been put into making the track feel both alive and dynamic, melodies jump out and grab listeners attention with great precision and the bombastic nature of the songs rhythmic elements ensure audiences are kept enthralled from start to finish.

Target Audience Appeal: This is an interesting blend of alternative rock and electro elements and I'm sure lovers of these styles will find "Dirty" to be an interesting combination of these genres.

Artist target suggestions: Nine Inch Nails, Arcade Fire, Muse, TV On The Radio, LCD Soundsytem, Hot Chip, The Rapture, Junior Boys, Digitalism, X-Terra, Bodyrockers
