Victor Tsaran - Vanilla Fields
Pop, Jazz, Folk
California, United States

Overall Impression: A unique mix and sound that's a bit of old and new, singer/songwriter Victor Tsaran takes the genres of pop and folk and blends familiar sounds reminiscent of bands like Coldplay, Christoper Cross, and Sting and brings his latest original song " Vanilla Fields" to the mix and much like the song's title it's ethereal, there is that sense of nature and lazying around in the grass, while listening to a composition that uses various instruments that create a rich sound that also has a gentleness and poise to it. This song is a must for lovers of folk, pop, easy listening, and alt. rock, as well as artists like The Beatles, John Lennon, Christopher Cross, and Rufus Wainwright.

Strongest Point(s): The song's melody and instrumental performance are beautifully composed and performed. The melody has a great folk/pop feel, The songs begin with slow, fingerpicked, and arpeggiated chords, that have a soft romantic quality to them. The song includes lots of percussion but is light and gives the song that nature-like and ethereal feel, for that Tsaran uses a lot of chimes and triangles for a light floaty effect. As the song continues, the sound gets richer and more complex. The percussion sounds usher themselves in once again, with the sounds of the shakers, chimes, and xylophone and organ bringing some soul to the piece as well.

Target Audience Appeal: For fans of pop and folk alt. rock, easy listening, and artists like Sting, Christopher Cross Phil Collins.

Artist target suggestions: Elbow, Snow Patrol, Christopher Cross, U2, Jeff Buckley, Keane, James Morrison, The Fray, Ed Sheeran, Kodaline, John Lennon, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Righteous Brothers, Pat Metheny, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Sam Rivers, George Russell, Kenny Loggins, David Gray, James Blunt, Charlie Puth, Victor Wooten, Bela' Fleck and the Flecktones, Aimee Mann, Jack Johnson, Thriving Ivory, Death Cab For Cutie, Chris Issak and Brandi Carlile.
