STACK7 - His Light Will Shine On
Christian/Gospel, Hip Hop
Alabama, United States

Overall Impression: STACK7 (Standing Together As Christ's Kingdom) is a Christian emcee from Los Angeles, California. A normal guy who loves his sports teams, his family.. and oh yeah God! STACK7 spent much of his youth like many of us, often making bad decisions and mistakes, but he now has a higher calling and STACK7 is here to share His message in hopes to offer some guidance to those in need. Although STACK7 has only just started releasing his own original music, he has been busy writing lyrics since he was 14 (and yes he can still recite those rhymes!) and has produced 7 singles so far to date, with a full-length album due in the near future. With his latest single entitled "His Light Will Shine On" STACK7 drops a laid-back yet thick beat reminiscent of mid to late 90's G-Funk, west coast for sure! Lush guitar chords, dreamy rhodes, a solid rhythm track and catchy melody help complete the sound.

Strongest Point(s): Like a true artist focusing on the final product, STACK7 takes the time to fully develop the concept of each of his releases, often adding audio snippets from various sources and other sound effects or samples to help solidify the sonic image. With "His Light Will Shine On" the infectious 'This little light of mine' hook coupled with the religiously symbolic concept of the trumpet blowing help tie the whole concept of this song together.

Target Audience Appeal: Anyone who's looking for inspirational Christian Hip-Hop should invest some time in STACK7 and his entire catalog! Somewhat new to the scene, but STACK7 is making moves with a furry of releases over the last two years, and doesn't show signs of stopping anytime soon. Keep him on your radar, add him to your playlists and check back often as he offers new music on a regular basis!

Artist target suggestions: Jizzm High Definition, Sage Francis, Look Daggers, Dilated Peoples, Astronautalis, P.O.S, Minister KB, Stephen tha' Apostle, Johnny Mo, Soul Position, Pep Love, Lifesavas, Visionaries, Zion I, LMNO
