Jerome's lyrics touch upon many of the ongoing issues that continue to plague society and serve as an interesting commentary on the present social and political landscape. The decision to weave this into a blues-rock context is a smart one, lightening the tone whilst adding in a great amount of energy that presents the lyrics in an immediate and impactful way. The performances are strong and there is a definite passion in the playing that definitely shines through the music, Jerome clearly has a love for the genre and you can certainly feel his sense of musicality throughout the track.
