Overall Impression: With its brilliantly chilled-out vibe and superb vocal performances, "Nobody Like You" is an excellent laid-back R&B track that delicately glides from the stylish neo-soul-inspired opening to the beautiful soul-infused vocal harmonies that see the track out. Angelo J. Simpson has done a wonderful job of creating a certain sense of atmosphere and ambiance with "Nobody Like You", it has an almost dreamlike quality to it which makes for a nice change when compared to the many popular R&B tracks of the present.
Strongest Point(s): The vocals are certainly a standout, both the lead and backing vocals are simply superb and work perfectly together. The interplay between the soft expressive nature of the lead vocals and the beautiful angelic quality of the backing singers is thoroughly engrossing and helps give the track its undeniably soothing character. Both the intricate harmonies and the way the vocal parts have been arranged create this interesting movement to the track, as if the vocal parts are in a slow dance with one another, edging between being close and slightly far apart from one another, it gives the track a certain dynamism which is extremely engaging. The lyrics fit the style of the genre perfectly, having that utterly relatable quality to them that I'm sure most listeners will find themselves easily connecting with.
Target Audience Appeal: This is definitely a tune for R&B lovers, lovers of the genre will certainly appreciate what "Nobody Like You" has to offer.
