Denise Miller and Son - Alice in Green
Folk, Acoustic, Singer Songwriter
New Jersey, United States

Overall Impression: Sentimental lyrics mesh beautifully with a haunting melody on "Alice in Green", from the folk duo of Denise Miller and Son. A delicately picked steel string acoustic guitar provides the lone accompaniment for Miller's intimate vocal delivery, as she conveys this message written from the perspective of a mother to a daughter. Vivid imagery and an engaging performance make Denise Miller and Son's "Alice in Green" an easy recommendation for any fans of of folk music, both traditional and contemporary.

Strongest Point(s): Excellent production, mix sounds great. Very warm and saturated sound. Outstanding lyrical content that paints a wonderful portrait of the journey of a young girl from childhood to adulthood, and the pride and joy of a matron. Nice chord progression, very traditional folk fare. Well written, solid performance, quality production. Very nice job, by all who were involved in the creation of this track.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of Folk, Traditional Folk, Contemporary Folk, Singer/Songwriter
