Overall Impression: A great amount of melodic variety and blistering performances help give "Nadir's Theme" its clear edge, and Vax'O has done a brilliant job of blending an eclectic mix of styles such as blues, funk, and jazz to create a brilliant fusion of genres that are seamlessly interwoven together to create a vividly distinct and highly energetic instrumental that's full of catchy hooks and a great sense of flair.
Strongest Point(s): The performances are certainly strong and are one of the track's standout highlights. The marvelous funk fusion guitar and groove-laden bass combine with fantastically jazzy brass and superb drum work to create an outstanding display of musicianship. There is a feeling of looseness to the track which makes the performances feel both organic and naturally smooth in quality, it gives the song an almost improvised feeling which helps create the sense of unexpectedness. This is a great quality for an instrumental to have and gives the track its feeling of spontaneity. A great deal of attentiveness has clearly gone into the track's melodic workings and there is a fantastic amount of melodic interplay between the various instruments that make for a continually engaging listening experience, and when combined with the song's prominent rhythmic bounce, the result is a well-realized instrumental filled with both creativity and personality.
