Overall Impression: There's a marvelously "classic" sound to "How Do You Treat Me Like You Do" that feels both tremendously authentic and stylistic in execution. Delta by the Beach serves up a classic slice of blues-infused rock that feels both raw and honest in equal measure. With its brilliant blend of charismatic performances and undeniable appreciation of the genre, this is a marvelous love letter to the blues, one that I couldn't help but find both charming and sincere.
Strongest Point(s): Hearkening back to that classic era of blues and its many outstanding baton carriers such as B.B King, Buddy Guy, and John Lee Hooker to name just a few, this track serves as a great tribute to the genre and does a great job in capturing the spirit and character of the blues incredibly well. Whether it be the highly expressive lead vocal performance or the raspy expressive nature courtesy of the harmonica, every element is working in perfect tandem to create a thoroughly authentic listening experience that is brimming with personality and an abundance of melodic variety. The musicianship is nothing short of stellar and there's a very clear sense of unity within the group that can be both heard and felt through the music.
