Invasion - You Go to the Way
Metal, Hard Rock, Electro Pop
Haskovo, Bulgaria
Overall Impression: With an unbridled sense of attitude and riffs galore, "You Go The Way" is a killer anthemic metaller that's chock full of chugging guitars, soaring lead work, and an undoubtedly expressive lead vocal performance. Invasion has put together a headbanger of a track that combines a great sense of melody with crushing rhythms, resulting in a tune that you can't help but nod your head too!
Strongest Point(s): The performances have a great amount of energy to them and are clearly filled with the utmost conviction, the lead vocals really go for it, they never hold back and certainly add to the overall impact of the track and its anthemic qualities. The lead vocals are strengthened by a solid backing band consisting of crushing rhythm guitar/lead work, bombastic drums, and chest-rattling bass. There's a great amount of melody throughout, a lot of which comes from the lead guitar work, often combining melodies to create some excellent lines, especially in the chorus sections. Talking of lead guitar, the guitar solos are excellent, they are extremely well crafted and full of marvelous technique, from the attention-grabbing bends to the blistering fast alternate picked pentatonic runs, the solo sections help inject the track with even more melody. This is solidly arranged, and whilst the track follows the standard verse, bridge, chorus structure, sections are well connected and flow very well from one to another, resulting in an arrangement that is easy to follow and feels natural in its progression.
Target Audience Appeal: Fans of heavy metal and hard rock will find a lot to love about "You Go The Way".
Artist target suggestions: Black Label Society, Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, Hellyeah, Megadeth, Anthrax, Mudvayne, Soil, Rob Zombie, Drowning Pool, Pantera, Dope, Skindred, Dio
