Overall Impression: Created to Kill is a new black metal release by Wilted Cross. Opening with high-octane guitars and drums, Created to Kill immediately reveals its death metal roots. The overall groove holds together a barrage of double bass drums and distorted guitar. Preceded by an ominous bass line, the vocals have an otherworldly intensity that is not for the faint of heart. Clocking in at a minute and a half, Created to Kill provides a snapshot of what Wilted Cross is made of.
Strongest Point(s): The larger groove is cool in this track. It has a largely 12/8 feel over a battery machine-like percussion.
