Overall Impression: Charlie and Jack is a newly released tune by country artist Len Snow Jr. The band kicks off the tune and never backs down. Complete with fine guitar and organ work, the rhythm section has a classic country sound that strongly supports the vocals. Snow's voice has a approachable tone with a southern twang that is perfect for country. The clever lyrics portray a man whose love of country music and whiskey costs him true love. His only comfort is from the same two things that caused him so much pain. Paying tribute to Charlie Daniels and Tennessee whiskey, Charlie and Jack by Len Snow Jr. holds onto its roots and never strays too far from home.
Strongest Point(s): The lyrics are worth reading a couple times. They paint a simple picture, but are full of backstory and details that deserve to be noticed. The high production quality, and fine work out of the band deserve their own special shout out, too!
