Joy Storm - Animalistic Love
Soul, R&B, Pop
Illinois, United States
Overall Impression: "Animalistic Love" is the latest exciting release from recording artist Joy Storm. Seamlessly blending retro analog 80's synthesizers with modern vocal production techniques, "Animalistic Love" bridges the gap between the decades to create something entirely unique. Featuring Joy Storm's sultry alto, this track sets an amorous mood that's perfectly in line with its hedonic lyrical content, and is certain to become a late night favorite. Fans of sensual RnB, as well as retro flavored synth wave, should be on the lookout for Joy Storm's "Animalistic Love", her second single from her upcoming album that's scheduled for release in the Summer of 2021.
Strongest Point(s): Great production, very solid mix. Nice sound design and instrumentation. Really liked the gradual release of the filter at the beginning. It gives the track that "Wizard of Oz" effect, of going from black and white to full technicolor. Excellent vocal performance and production. Engaging arrangement, enough variation to keep it interesting throughout. Really distinctive sound, somewhere between 80s pop and Quiet Storm style RnB with a modern vocal twist to it. I feel like you really achieved what you set out to do, which is an artistic victory unto itself. Congratulations on a very strong track!
