Sunrise Pilot - This Is Summer
Pop

Overall Impression: This is a single is clean, polished, and ready to be promoted. I really enjoyed the horn section! And the melody and refrain are very catchy. This is a summer anthem that will immediately put a smile on your face and make you want to dance.

Strongest Point(s): This is Summer is very catchy. The refrain/chorus and melody will stay in your head, and that's what anyone making commercially successful music hopes for. The upbeat tempo is fun, and every other instrumental component here evokes the "let's have fun and dance" summer vibe, as expressed in its lyrics.

Target Audience Appeal: This song will appeal to children, teenagers, and those in between. I can easily visualize this song on a Disney show or on Nickelodeon. This song could also have a wider appeal, but, again, to a young audience. I also think that this song has A LOT of commercial appeal -- and could easily be picked up by an advertising/marketing agency to promote a product. It's clean pop, very catchy, and it's got an upbeat uplifting message and feel. This is Summer is a single that deserves to be promoted, and it will absolutely find an audience, especially if it's combined with visual media (like television). I could also see this song being sold to a pop artist or a boy band who needs a good single. Check out who is behind the soundtracks to High School Musical and Glee because this would fit in perfectly. The sky is the limit with this pop single.

Artist target suggestions: Camila Cabello, One Direction, Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, Shawn Mendes, Disney soundtracks, High School Musical, Indina Menzel, Glee soundtrack, Zac Efron.
