The use of violin (real or simulated) gives the whole piece a Romantic, adventurous feel that only increases with the large, open chords on guitar. The choice of the wah pedal mid-song beginning around 1.03 is enough to knock listeners off their feet, with an incredible groovy sound that is entirely unexpected, but feels so right, locking Hologramas Distorcidos in as a killer song. Ferreira's voice is very appealing, the effects on it making it just a tad aloof in a surreal sort of way, and his lyrics are well developed, insightful, and mature. Just when audiences think they've heard everything, the introduction of keys and xylophone will prove them wrong with another jaw dropping artistic decision that will have listeners smiling to the end.
