The main chorus of the song, with the incorporation of the 'ooh's has a majorly sweet impact on the song's tone and feel, and the accompanying drum groove is perfect. Great instrumental choices throughout - the bright piano and gritty electric guitar blend together in a lovely and unexpected way - highlighted even more from 1:36 - 2:03. Overall, Once Shined contains a strikingly memorable melody, delightful rhythmic complexities, and an air of nostalgic admiration that mirrors the lyrics. Really, really well done!
