Center Stage - Casey Pechet

Meet our new Center Stage artist, Casey Pechet ! Born in 1960 in Edmonton, Canada and raised on 60’s pop and rock; largely provided by my brother eight years my senior. I still remember him putting on Sgt. Pepper's on a warm summer night in 1967 – he started with Lovely Rita and that was that – I knew what I wanted to do. By 2010, I found I was no longer bound to a specific style or genre and felt no need to ‘compete’ or prove anything. It was wonderfully liberating. After almost four decades of ‘professional’ efforts I finally gave way to letting anything and everything flow irrespective of genre and popularity. It was only then when my music finally took on a life of its own and became art. These days I play all the instruments both real and synthesized and mix and produce. Center Stage Artist - Erick Macek

We're excited to present our latest multitalented  Center Stage artist, Erick Macek.  Over the past year, songs from Macek’s prior album, Colors May Change, have received a tremendous amount of music placement. CBS used his work in the series Life Unexpected, Melrose Place and 90210. The feature film The Opposite Sex, which stars Mena Suvari and Geoff Stults, used Long, Long, Time for the closing credits. Recently, Erick has been co-writing with artists like James Ragan and Robbie Boyd. Erick's latest self-titled EP was fully crowd-sourced and is filled with guest appearances. Mikal Blue, who holds a Grammy for his work with Jason Mraz, produced, mixed and engineered the project. Get to know our latest Center Stage artist and Radio Airplay's Summer Song Contest winner, Logan Tudeen! Bouncing onto the national scene straight from America’s Heartland, Logan Tudeen’s twist on modern country adds a light and jubilant delivery to the formats offerings on her debut self-titled project. Under the production wing of Kent Wells (Dolly Parton), Logan’s debut captures both her gleeful spirit and relatable lyrics. Logan was also selected by CMA Close Up Magazine as a 2013 "Who New To Watch". What was the inspiration behind writing and recording the winning Summer Contest song "High Times?" Center Stage - Charles Wiley

Get to know our latest Center Stage artist, Charles Wiley. Charles has been playing music for over 20 years, starting out playing with his father and brother as a child. He wrote his first piece of music before he even became a teenager and has written hundreds more since, always working on improving his craft. Some of his music has now been featured on television shows like Oprah and The Dr. Oz Show, and he continues to compose music for television and film. Charles studied musical theory at Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona, and later studied with drummer Gil Sharone, who is known for his work with Dillinger Escape Plan, OTEP, and Stolen Babies. More recently, Charles studied with legendary big band drummer Ed Shaughnessy, probably best known for his years as the drummer for The Tonight Show Band on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
