Describe your sound in one ramble-on sentence
We have a Bluesy, Southern Rock, Bob Seger, Allman Brothers fell to our music...it is just good old southern rock the way it use to be.
What inspires you to make music?
Music always tells a story and it is the feeling deep down that comes out and captures the moments. That is the best feeling ever. Hard to understand tip you feel it. So I think that is inspiring to us as a band to share that with everyone.
What aspect of making music excites you the most right now?
Putting our stories to music is pretty exciting and having the fans respond to it.
What are the biggest challenges you face as a musician?
The biggest challenge is getting your music heard by the right people and willing to take that chance to push on.
What's one of your all-time favorite recordings?
There are so many good ones out there that it is hard to just pick one. But one that would be a good call would be Allman Brothers "Whipping Post"
Do you have any recent or upcoming projects you'd like to share with us? Tell us about it.
We have been writing a lot lately and are hoping to be in the studio in mid to late February.. lots of new cool stuff that we know our fans will love. That is our next project we are trying to get done and out in the next couple months.
What is your ideal or target audience?
As far as an ideal audience. We play the type of music that reaches all types of crowds. You look out there and see the 25 to 30 year olds dancing and having a good time as well as the 30 to 40 range that will sing right along with you and the 40 to 60 year olds bobbing their heads and watching with amazement that someone still plays this type of music. The older crowd has grown up on that type of music and the younger crowd look at it as something new and enjoyable to them.
Do you write your own songs? Briefly describe your songwriting process.
Yes we write our own songs. Basicly the singer and drummer and sometimes bass player will get together and start with a lick and build from there and then depending on the style of the song we start putting lyrics to it that fit the style. The lead singer does most of the writing and we just all polish it up to our own style.
What do you like the most about Radio Airplay?
We love the fact that people all over the world are able to hear our music and become a fan. It is nice to know that people are able to tune in and hear something we have written and Radio airplay has made that possible.
