Strongest Point(s): Excellent production, great sounding mix that recreates the analog warmth of the original. Terrific choice of a cover, great job of staying true to the original while putting your own spin on it. I really like this tempo, works well with the drum groove. Outstanding arrangement, good guitar work and orchestration. Tremendous rock vocal performance that emulates a lot of Johnny's idiosyncrasies and tricks without sacrificing any clarity, along with some really great ad-libs. The sincerity certainly comes across in the delivery. Overall, this is a brilliant rendition that builds off the original version of a fairly well-known and popular song, particularly among alt-rock audiences. Longtime fans will appreciate the attention to detail, and new listeners will be exposed to a music icon. Stellar work, all around!
