Heart In Hands Ministry - Wrong Or Right
Christian/Gospel
FL, US
Overall Impression: Heart In Hands Ministry enter a powerful, faith-based plea for humanity, on their release of "Wrong or Right". This anthemic Christian rock track features a compelling alternative sound, with gritty male vocals backed by chugging guitars and swirling synths playing overtop a resolute backbeat. Inclusive lyrics serve as a direct confrontation of systemic racism and violence as seen through the lens of Christian Egalitarianism, using visceral and sometimes jarring imagery to drive the message home. Fans of Christian rock and CCM can find "Wrong or Right" available now for streaming on Heart In Hands Ministry's 2025 album, titled 911 for Jesus.
Strongest Point(s): Decent production and a solid mix. Good dynamic shape with a mighty alt-rock sound; nice clean arrangement that allows for the vocal to stand out and builds over time. Wonderful choice of vocalist, serves the song well. Great tom-tom groove when the drums enter. Powerful and righteous messaging in the lyrical content, calling for an end to racial violence and discrimination by stating that we are all created equally in God's image. All in all, this is a strong Christian rock track with a tremendous message of equality and an accessible sound that CCM audiences should be able to enjoy. Outstanding work!
