Overall Impression: California-based Epic Nelson serve up high-energy, charismatic boogie rock on their release of "Long Gone". Strongest Point(s): Outstanding production, great sounding mix. Good tonal balance and clarity. Fantastic Texas-style boogie-rock groove that's sure to get bodies shaking. Rhythm section is locked in tight, lead guitar is doing a terrific job of filling space. Killer vocal performance and production, sits front and center in the mix with a tremendous rock delivery that audiences will love. Backing vocals add nice harmonies in the turnarounds, and of course are essential to the hook. Great lyrical content, a throwback to classic hard rock and blues-rock of the macho seventies, a fine example of rock swagger. This is an excellent track with a great sound and a wonderful party vibe that is wild and contagious. Stellar work, by everyone involved!
