Overall Impression: German new age composer/producer Erik Gräber blends somber steel pan drum melodies with relaxing ambient nature sounds, on his release of "Sauna Event Aufguss". Clocking in at just over twelve minutes, this track offers listeners a transcendental journey that begins with metallic gongs and shimmering chimes alongside birdsongs and a babbling brook, before traveling downstream with intricate rhythms and subtle sound design that allow the mind to drift freely on a pastoral stream of consciousness. Warm synth pads and assorted percussion provide additional color and texture while guiding the audience through Gräber's musical vision, before eventually returning home as he reprises the main theme once again in the final movement. New Age music enthusiasts can find Erik Gräber's "Sauna Event Aufguss" available now for streaming, on all major music platforms.

 Strongest Point(s): Impressive production, great sounding mix. Gorgeous composition, great transitions between sections/movements. Fantastic sound design, great panning on that percolating sound. Good synth selections. Terrific use of space throughout, never feels congested or cluttered. Wonderful real audio, foley and nature sounds. You manage to blend those elements in seamlessly. Love the focus on the steel pan drum, you do very well to support it with other percussion, both metallic and non-metallic. I really like the hi-hat section, great rhythmic injection there. That section in general provides an excellent "bridge", if you will. Very nice melodic content there as well. Another wonderful diversion begins at around 8:55. Overall, this is a brilliant composition and a fine finished piece that is truly a musical voyage. This track could definitely have sync opportunities, if you choose to go that route. Incredible work, from start to finish!
