Strongest Point(s): Outstanding production, fantastic sounding mix. Great tonal balance and use of stereo space. Terrific vibe that stylishly mixes retro and modern pop. Solid groove, ideal for light dance or just casual head-bobbing. Killer bass sound. Tremendous guitar work throughout, particularly in the solo section. Nice vintage drum machine and synth tones, love the bells. Amazing contrast between the verse and chorus, and the bridge breaks things up nicely. Awesome vocal performance and production, great energy and a wonderful job of crafting a thoroughly contemporary sound using filters and formants, filling up the harmonic space. Lyrics are excellent, and have that "Jolene" vibe to them that will definitely resonate with female listeners. Catchy chorus hook as well. Overall this is a brilliant pop song and an incredible production that should appeal to a broad audience, thanks to its combination of new and old that blends the best of both worlds. Stellar work by everyone involved!
