Love the bridge section that starts around 2:46. Terrific groove with strong rhythmic character. Great job of staging and slowly introducing new elements, like the organ, marimba, and finally the brass. Gives each instrument their opportunity to shine. Vocals sound fantastic, compelling delivery style. Backing vox add solid reinforcement and wonderful color. Incredibly poetic lyrics that are heartfelt, and draw on natural imagery and familial ties to convey a message of hope and positive direction. These optimistic themes, combined with a haunting arrangement and tremendous vocal performance, make this song an easy recommendation for any indie folk fans. Fantastic work on this track, by everyone involved!
