Andrews Way - Law of Attraction
Rock, Indie
Arizona, U.S.
Overall Impression: Arizona-based husband-wife musical duo Andrews Way deliver kitschy and quirky indie rock with a cryptic message, on their release of "Law of Attraction". This track features a bustling and eclectic arrangement that borrows from punk and surf rock styles, highlighted by rapid-fire rhythms and chromatic riffs in the choruses, along with a catchy retro-pop inspired verses. Charming mixed and layered vocals serve up imaginative and unconventional lyrics that explore themes of manifestation and enlightenment, while an extended instrumental bridge expands on the harmonic concepts presented in the chorus, carried by fantastic twin guitar leads. Indie rock fans in particular will not want to miss out on "Law of Attraction" from Andrews Way, available now as a single on all major platforms.
Strongest Point(s): xcellent production, solid mix. Fantastic energy, straight from the top. Brilliant contrast between chorus and verse, shifting from a surf punk style to more of a psych-pop sound. Drums sound really good, wonderful rhythmic shifts and variations throughout. Nice guitar layering and arrangement, good use of stereo width and space. Love the bridge section, offers a terrific variation on the main theme and serves as a brief yet substantial interlude. Outstanding vocal performances and production, good clarity and nice full sound achieved by stacking and layering. Friendly and engaging vocal style that resonates with indie audiences. Lyrics are out of this world, took me a few listens and read-alongs to wrap my head around but I think I got the gist. Could possibly serve as inspirational, but definitely interesting. Overall this is an extremely fun and rewarding track that may take repeated listens, but should grow on audiences and soon become a crowd favorite. Awesome work here guys, from start to finish!
