Strongest Point(s): Outstanding production, solid mix. Nice intro, love the vocal there. Great use of filtering throughout. Very creative beat design, an almost minimalist approach that really works here and allows space for the gorgeous vocal arrangement. Piano sounds great, nice choice. Bass sits well in the mix, great line as well. Incredible vocal performance and production; warm and lovely style and delivery, nice flow. Should immediately connect with listeners. The backing vox are extremely well put together, providing rich harmonies and acting as a choir to help reinforce important lyrics and support the hook. Lyrical content is brilliant; terrific use of metaphor to encourage perseverance and spiritual awakening. This track could absolutely have broad appeal with secular r&b audiences as well as gospel, thanks to its universal themes, originative production style, and incredibly positive attitude. Amazing track, all around. Excellent work by all involved!
