Frank Fathom - Some Friends
Indie, Songwriter

Overall Impression: Indie singer/songwriter/producer Frank Fathom examines the transient nature of intimacy, with his single "Some Friends." Blending charming lo-fi elements with a minimalistic indie pop-folk style, Fathom creates a haunting yet uplifting atmosphere on this mid tempo track by weaving acoustic guitar and worn piano into a gentle tapestry, while white noise flutters and ambient birds warble above a soft kick drum rhythm. Layered and reverb-soaked vocals deliver meticulously crafted lyrics that convey wistful themes of companionship and good will, aided by brilliant sound design and a creative approach to production that helps to reinforce those same amiable ideals. Indie pop and folk audiences in particular will revel in the dreamy, inviting sound and warm, enveloping melodies of Frank Fathom's "Some Friends", available now on all major streaming platforms.
