3 Leagues to Rome - Undecided
Rock
Pennsylvania, United States

Overall Impression: Pittsburgh area rock band 3 Leagues to Rome deliver on a truly colossal endeavor, with their release of "Undecided." This mid tempo track features a lush arrangement consisting of heavily saturated guitars and precise, hard-hitting drums, while being gently reinforced by dreamy strings and punctuated with piano accents. Confident male vocals carry the stirring melody through the verses, contrasted with a massive group vocal sound on the chorus hook. Highlighted by its heady character, anthemic chorus and some absolutely spectacular guitar work, 3 Leagues to Rome's "Undecided" will appeal to rock fans across the board. It can be found on their 2022 EP Tolerance is Dead, available now on all major music platforms.

Strongest Point(s): Outstanding production, excellent mix. Great overall vibe on this one; somewhat spacey, but also very visceral and grounded. Nice wall of guitar sound, wonderfully rich tone. Really nice layering of sounds overall. Drums sound amazing, nice playing and production there. Terrific song structure, distinct verse, pre-chorus, chorus arrangement. The instrumental sections were stellar, tremendous musicianship. Vocals sound great; the lead reminds me of Anthony Kedis at times, similar range and delivery. I really liked the outro, gives a nice sense of completion. All in all, it's a strong track that really captures a fantastic "full band" dynamic that's very compelling and should have no problem engaging listeners. Awesome job on this one, by everybody involved.
