Overall Impression: With its great blend of Afro-Caribbean inspired pop styles and charismatic performances, Tez Pushay's highly danceable "Show Me Your Love" is a highly creative and spirited pop track that has the sure power to get its listeners both moving and singing along to its undeniably catchy melodic hooks lines and sentiment filled lyrics. Passionately performed and excitingly energy-fueled, "Show Me Your Love" shows great promise, and whilst there are some areas that could be improved upon, it still proves to be a solid effort that has both great character and plenty of inspired moments.
Strongest Point(s): I've always been an avid fan of genre-blending, and it's great to hear Tez Pushy effectively drawing inspiration from traditional Afro-rhythm-based styles as well as contemporary pop styles, including R&B and Hip-Hop. The way the vocals bounce back and forth between a rhythmically driving Hip-Hop style in the verse sections and the more R&B-styled edge that they adopt in the chorus sections allows for some great contrast to be achieved. The lyrics are well-written and feel both relatable and stylistically fitting for a track of this nature and Tez has clearly got a good sense of wordplay, allowing for some particularly catchy lines to be achieved throughout.
Target Audience Appeal: I can certainly see "Show Me Your Love" greatly appealing to lovers of Afro-Caribbean inspired R&B, pop, and Hip-Hop styles.
