They want to be let into someone's life, thoughts, and soul, but it is too late, and that person is now gone. Although there is a great amount of darkness surrounding the lyrics, especially around idea of someone being a martyr, their kindness of character shines through and takes center stage. Cecilee confidently handles the lyrics and sings with a fiery passion. She puts her all into the performance and holds nothing back.
