Overall Impression: Up and coming rock singer/songwriter Wes Dean delivers an anthemic message of persistence in the face of adversity, with his release of "Movin' On." Crashing guitars and pounding drums form the backbone of this uptempo rocker, providing Dean with the perfect setting for his confident, robust vocal style as he encourages listeners to remain diligent, even when hard times inevitably present themselves. Stellar guitar work and a steadfast intensity make Wes Dean's "Movin' On" an easy recommendation for any and all rock fans. Strongest Point(s): Excellent production, solid mix. Outstanding energy and vibe. Brilliant messaging here, and one that's desperately needed in contemporary society. Nice tonal variation amongst the guitars, well mixed and very skillfully played. Fantastic soloing. Lively bass line. Drums are hard hitting and intense, great driving force. Vocals sound terrific, nice delivery and production with the double tracking and filtering. All in all, it's a great track that should resonate strongly with working class rock fans. Very nice work on this one, by all involved!
