Joe Luca - Fast Fast Fast
Pop, Rap, Independent
Ottawa, Canada

Overall Impression: Joe Luca's "Fast Fast Fast" sounds quite unlike anything I've heard before, and this is most certainly a compliment. Sonically hard-hitting and utterly mesmerizing with regard to its creative vision, this is a track that transcends normal genre conventions in order to treat listeners to a wholly unique experience. Blending elements of hip-hop, industrial, and electronica to mind-bogglingly hypnotic lengths, "Fast Fast Fast" is both marvelously unrelenting and unapologetically different in its creative approach, so much so that its sci-fi-like trappings make it sound almost otherworldly.

Strongest Point(s): There are a great variety of sounds throughout "Fast Fast Fast", from low growling bass to more sprawling synth pads, the music that accompanies the vocals offers listeners a strikingly futuristic vibe that is heightened even further by the robotic edged delivery of the lyrics, allowing the song to lean heavily into its staggeringly unique sense of character and unbridled visionary style.

Target Audience Appeal: This is a difficult track to place in any one particular genre, which I certainly think is a good thing, but I could best describe this as noise rap with its fusion of industrial and electronic elements.

Artist target suggestions: Death Grips, JPEGMAFIA, Vince Staples, Danny Brown, Kanye West, Injury Reserve, BROCKHAMPTON, Yung Lean, Flying Lotus, Ghostemane
