Rainbow Death Rocket - Dead Man's Blood
Rock, Hard Rock, Grunge
Ohio, United States

Overall Impression: The riffs are big, the performances are even bigger, and the hooks are seriously catchy, all the things you would hope for in an anthemic hard rocker such as "Dead Man's Blood" I'm sure any self-respecting rock lover would agree. Rainbow Death Rocket (What a name!) has carved out a generous piece of gloriously dirty-edged hard rock that exhibits plenty of exciting melodies, a bombastic sense of rhythm, and a great deal of that quintessential hard-rock attitude, giving listeners a particularly meaty listening experience that they'll thoroughly enjoy.

Strongest Point(s): As soon as you fire up "Dead Man's Blood" it's full steam ahead with a great open string riff that quickly and effectively establishes the track's overall tone, with its pounding drums and propulsive rhythmic bite "Dead Man's Blood" quickly grabs its listeners and refuses to let them go until it's done with them, it's this unapologetic attitude that helps give the track its sense of character. It's interesting to hear that whilst the track is clearly rooted in classic hard-rock and metal, an effort has been made to inject some more contemporary elements into proceedings, allowing for some interesting genre-blending to be achieved. An example of this intriguing blending of styles would be the incorporation of more alternative style vocals in the verse sections and hardcore-styled shouted lyrics interspersed throughout key moments in the arrangement, throw in some glorious sleaze-drenched, blues-filled riffs, wild whammy bar abuse, and soaring lead guitar bends and you have a fantastic mix of classic anthemic rock and modern edged alternative styles and you have a listening experience that is both varied and exciting.

Target Audience Appeal: "Dead Man's Blood" is an interesting blend of classic hard rock and more contemporary alternative rock styles and I'm sure rock fans will appreciate what it has to offer.

Artist target suggestions: Mötley Crüe, L.A. Guns, Hollywood Undead, Shinedown, Chevelle, Buckcherry, Ratt, Firehouse, Danger Danger, My Darkest Days, Saving Abel, Art Of Dying, Santa Cruz, Rev Theory
