Andrew J Price - Summer Rain
Folk, Country, Acoustic
Toorbul, Australia

Overall Impression: With an energetic Rock groove, Summer Rain by Andrew J. Price buzzes down the road leading back to home. While the tune fits most comfortably in the world of Rock, shades of Folk and Country permeate Summer Rain for a uniquely fun sound. The harmonica rips through the clouds, supported by an acoustic guitar and the quick drum groove to add an undeniable charm and likability. During the chorus, Price belts out from behind the mic. He smartly keeps the melody simple and turns Summer Rain into something of an anthem. With thoughts of returning home, this song has no trouble in being relatable and gives the listener plenty of reasons to sing along. Overall, Summer Rain by Andrew J. Price is a very easy listen that shines with energy to find its place on listeners' Summer soundtrack.

Strongest Point(s): The harmonica really grabs the spotlight in Summer Rain. It cuts through the mix and takes the tune to an entirely new level. There is already a high degree of energy and fun, due primarily to the quick drum groove, but the additional lines from the harmonica and guitar nearly push the tune to a breaking point.
