Originally contained on his 2021 EP World I'm Coming' For You, this piano ballad is bolstered by lush strings and the standard rock instrumentation of guitar/bass/drums, including a brilliant sax solo leading into the final chorus. Fluent melody and an inventive harmonic progression are the hallmarks of this tune, with DeAngelis slipping in and out of a gorgeous falsetto in order to get the most out of his exceptionally expressive tenor, delivering a passionate performance as he heralds the promise of an expectantly bright future. Strongest Point(s): Outstanding production, excellent mix. Truly a beautiful song, gives off strong Elton John vibes. Captivating chord progressions, great harmonic motion. Wonderfully engaging melody, in both the verses and chorus. Nice gradual build to the arrangement, continues to pick up steam right up to the finish. Very well thought out arrangement and orchestration/instrumentation in general, lots of interesting elements at play. I like the way the drums were mixed; that dry, muffled sound really adds to the 1970's sonic quality. Amazing lyrical content, fantastic prose and imagery as well as a positive and optimistic message, really good stuff there. Incredible vocal performance, great energy and emotion, and a lot of compelling character that's inherent in your voice. Simply a tremendous song and a magnificent track that was a joy to review, terrific job all around!
