Naomi Nicole - Call Me
R&B, Pop, Hip Hop
Georgia, United States

Overall Impression: "Call Me" is a seductively sophisticated new release from the lovely and talented Atlanta based r&b artist Naomi Nicole. Re-sampled vintage soul and laid-back relaxed trap beats serve as the ideal backdrop for Naomi Nicole's alluring and intoxicating vocals on this evocative and enticing track. Late night r&b has never sounded better. Establishing the perfect atmosphere for romance, Naomi Nicole's "Call Me" would be right at home on any date night playlist and should particularly appeal to fans of neo-soul and alternative r&b who are seeking to enhance their mood.

Strongest Point(s): Excellent production, solid mix. Engaging arrangement, lots of interesting elements that come together nicely as a whole. Good variation between verse and chorus. Drum mix and beat design are well done, nice choices and great groove feel. Good variation there as well. Vocals are very expressive with great flow, nice layering with the backing vox. I really like what's going on here musically, there's a wonderful push and pull that's happening, and the way you've arranged those string swells really brings out that quality. Outstanding effort overall, great track that was a pleasure to review.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of RnB, Soul, Neo-Soul, Contemporary RnB, Alternative RnB
